Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Angie Panagiotou and James LaBombard

Bonita Lakes Park

Bonita Reservoir Rd, Meridian, MS 39301

Bonita Lakes is a great place to stretch your legs and get some fresh air. Enjoy the scenery of the lakes. The big lake is hidden behind the levee above the small lake. PS, stop by the carousel horse at the entrance! You'll see them dotted all over Meridian.

Bonita Lakes Mall/ Bonita Lakes Crossing

1210 Bonita Lakes Cir, Meridian, MS 39301

A lovely mall with a movie theater that offers a little entertainment and food. The Crossing at the bottom of the hill offers even more shopping options as well as a few nice places to eat.

Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX)

2155 Front Street, Meridian, MS 39301
, (601) 581-1550

Known as The Max by the locals, this museum is a great place to take the kids to learn a little bit about Mississippi arts. Exhibits feature some of Mississippi's better known artists (such as Jim Henson) as well as local artists of today.

MSU Riley Center

2200 5th Street, Meridian, MS 39301
, (601) 696-2200

Once an old Opera House, the MSU Riley center now offers present day entertainment ranging from Russian Ballet to Blues and Rock and roll. Even if you can't make an event happening, feel free to check out a major part of Meridian, Ms. The inside of the building was completely remodeled to resemble the Opera House back in it's hay day and the Auditorium is absolutely beautiful to look at.

Weidmann's

210 22nd Avenue, Meridian, Mississippi 39301
, +1 601-581-5770

this is a great staple of Meridian history. Not only do they have a great restaurant with traditional American cuisine, they offer a nice bar upstairs where you can chill and listen to live music.
