Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 1st, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It's a formal garden party! Gentlemen will be wearing their Black Tie Tux best (no bow ties). Ladies will be dressed in the mood board from the above picture. Textures and fun floral patterns would be the vibe! We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white and blue, as those are reserved for the wedding party. We can't wait to see everyone all glammed up!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire event will be at the Norland Historic Estate! The ceremony will be an outdoor garden ceremony and the reception will be inside the venue.

Question

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

While we love all the little ones in our lives, our celebration will be an adults-only event, except for a few special roles in our ceremony. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! To keep our day intimate and special, we kindly ask that only the guests listed on the invitation attend. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly request no phones or cameras during the ceremony to ensure an intimate and distraction-free experience. Professional photographers and videographers will be capturing the day, and we look forward to sharing those moments with you!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you and to share some beautiful Filipino Christian traditions that hold deep meaning in our culture and values. These customs symbolize love, unity, prosperity, and the blessings of family and faith. Ceremony Traditions 🌿 The Veil – A Symbol of Unity A white veil is placed over both of us, representing our unity as we become one in marriage. It symbolizes protection, devotion, and the presence of God in our union. 🔗 The Cord – A Bond of Everlasting Love A ceremonial cord, shaped like an infinity symbol, is draped over our shoulders to signify an unbreakable bond. It represents strength, commitment, and the everlasting nature of marriage. 📖 The Bible – A Foundation of Faith As we begin our life together, we receive a Bible as a symbol of building our marriage on God’s Word. It serves as a reminder that His love, wisdom, and guidance will be the foundation of our union. 🍷 Communion – A Sacred Covenant As we begin our journey as husband and wife, we will partake in Holy Communion, dedicating our marriage to Jesus Christ. The bread and wine represent Christ’s body and blood, a reminder of His sacrifice, grace, and presence in our lives. Through this sacred act, we invite God to be the foundation of our marriage and commit to honoring Him in our union. Reception Traditions 💃 The Money Dance – Showering the Couple with Blessings Guests can pin money onto our outfits as we dance, offering their well wishes and blessings for our new life together. This tradition represents prosperity and support from our loved ones as we begin our journey as a married couple.
