When we went to Japan in December 2024, I had mentioned to some friends that I thought Angelo might propose, but I didn’t want to get my hopes up. After strolling through Yokohama's Chinatown, he told me there was a nearby park he wanted to take me to. I thought, "Okay, this guy really likes parks? What’s so special about this one?" Moments later, as a wave crashed over the lookout, he dropped to one knee, and my eyes immediately swelled with tears. He had been planning for months.
