Our first date was so amazing, that despite being seated in the middle of 5th Street Steakhouse on a crowded Friday night , (the weekend before Valentine’s no less) with so little standing room we were squished together at the bar, waiting for our table - and of course Hunny being the gentlemen that he is was very intentionally ensuring that he, nor anyone else, would get pressed up against me. He stood facing me, with arms on either side of me creating the only safe space, touch-free zone in Chico that night. I remember feeling very protected. 🦹🏼♂️ The conversation was so great , the noisy restaurant faded away and it was like we were the only two people in the restaurant. The food was amazing! So much so we’ve gone back many times begging the question was it really great or simply that we were falling in love so everything was chemically enhanced. Hence 2-7-26 seemed the natural choice for our wedding day. Our first date was followed by an even better second date, which as it happened was a Friday night Valentine’s date 2-14-2020 that would unknowingly become the backdrop upon which future landmark dates would be made.

Our relationship is built on trust… sorta. Me: I’m just gonna close my eyes and trust that you’re going to keep us safe rather than trusting what I see Hunny: As opposed to what? Me: Trusting what I see Hunny: Thank you, for Trusting me Baby. ..,…. You can’t really trust speedometers at this altitude anyway, thinner air screws with the vistopcrsy of the truck and makes it seem like we are going faster than we really are. M: 🤔 😏 🤣😆 I cannot believe the straight-face you kept and conviction in your voice. Lol 😂 How often do you get away with that???
After a long hard day, before our date for Comedy Night at the Blue Room theatre, a very hungry Hunny had finally gotten an opportunity to sit down and eat on his way to pick me up. He no sooner gets to his table with his food when this girl texts him “I thought we could grab a bite after the show .. thoughts💭? He later confessed that he took one bite, got up and tossed his burger so he could eat with me later. That’s when I knew there was something to us. 💕
We Can’t wait til February to celebrate with you - until then!
