Emily and I have known each other since elementary school and have been friends since! We became close in high school through FFA and spent countless weekends sitting around campfires with our friends. Since then, we've traveled to Hawaii, eaten pretty much every food made at the State Fair, and seen our childhood crush Jesse McCartney in concert together. Emily has the most gentle and kind spirit, she goes above and beyond for all of the people in her life, and loves fiercely. I know no matter how much time passes in between seeing each other, we'll always pick right back up where we left off. I had the joy of standing by her side as one of her bridesmaids when she married the love of her life, Jake, and I couldn't imagine her not being by my side as I marry the love of mine!

My dad is my best friend, I was so excited to ask him to be my best man on my wedding day. My dad and I are like two peas in a pod, we share a love of 49ers football and seeing Aaron Lewis in concert. He's been been by my side since the day I was born, so I couldn't think of the more perfect person to be my best man!

Hallie and I met the day we moved into Owen Hall, during our Freshman year at NC State University. I lived across the hall and her family kept popping across to see how we'd set up our room and shortly after Hallie came to introduce herself and the rest is history! I'm forever grateful for all the frat parties she got us into, 2 am runs to the C-Store for snacks, rides home to our apartment from campus, not killing me for locking us out of our apartment by leaving the key in an Uber, hours watching The Bachelor, and being the absolute LIFE of the party. Seriously though, she makes everything 10x more fun! I had a dream after only a couple weeks of knowing Hallie, that she would be a bridesmaid at my wedding (weird thing to tell someone you just met, I know) and sure enough, here we are!

I met Kirby the day I moved into NC State University. I was sitting in my room unpacking when I heard the LOUDEST laughter down the hall. I hadn't made any friends yet, so I wandered a few rooms down and found a group of girls and introduced myself. None of us remember how exactly we got from that introduction to being friends so quickly, but pretty much every night then on out, Kirby, Hallie, Ally, several others, and I spent together! Kirby earned the nickname "Baby Bear" from me Freshman year, because while she looks small, she is so mighty! She is the best listener, first person to be down to go out to a party or get some french fries, and honestly the best kind of friend anyone could have. Kirby has been a light in my life since day 1 and I'm so grateful to have her by my side!

The "OG Goat"! Drew is one of the funniest people I know, but also the nicest. He would give anyone the shirt off of his back if they were in need. Drew has always been there for me and I'm happy he said yes to being one of my groomsmen. Ask Drew how he got the nickname "OG Goat", it's a funny story!

Ally goes above and beyond to make sure all of her people have everything they need! We met freshman year on the 3rd floor of Owen Hall at NCSU and quickly became friends. She endured so many nights of me asking 80 billion questions about my calculus and chemistry classes, how, I have no idea. If you know me, you know I'm clueless at math haha. Ally and I could frequently be seen getting Baja Blasts in the Taco Bell drive thru, buying everything in our nearest HomeGoods, making crafts in our living room, and staying up late curled up on each other's beds talking about life!

Cj is so much fun to be around and I'm grateful I met him when Drew started dating Stephani! Cj is always down for anything and is such a genuinely good friend to all. We love our "Italian Stallion"!

I met Annelise during our Freshman year at NCSU (are we sensing a theme here? haha), after she came to our room often to walk over to dance classes with my roommate at the time. Annelise quickly joined the "squad" and we've all been friends since! Annelise is the kindest soul on the planet, she is the best at helping everyone see the good in every situation, talking through choices, and cheering us on, no matter what! She is so supportive and such a rockstar, I love and adore her to pieces!

I met Tad back in high school, who knew he would eventually marry my sister? Not only did I gain a brother-in-law, I gained a lifetime friend-- even though he's a Patriots fan. GO NINERS!

Jess and I met Camp Pisgah in 2018 as staff members. Nothing brings you closer to a person faster than being an overnight camp counselor together. IYKYK. We quickly became close and kept in touch every single day after camp ended and then Jess had to go back to her home country, England! That spring, I flew across the pond to spend 2 weeks in England with Jess and Jess came to visit me for 3 weeks in August 2019, can you tell we hate saying goodbye to each other? Jess is such a ray of sunshine, she never fails to make me laugh or remind me of how much I'm loved. If I had a genie that could grant me one wish, it would be for Jess and I to live close to each other so we didn't have to go so long in between seeing each other in person! She's seriously the best!

T-Bay-Bay! Growing up Tyler and I were thick as thieves, we gave our parents a run for their money! Tyler showed me what not to do (or how not to get caught haha). I'm thankful for all of the inside jokes we share and that Tyler is my big brother.

Oh how we love our sweet Addie-girl! She is our only niece so far. She has such a contagious enthusiasm for everything, a kind heart, and a gentle spirit. She sees the good in everyone and every situation. Taking her wedding dress shopping was one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding planning experience-- she was just so happy that Brian promised her she could get a blush pink dress, and her eyes lit up when she found the one she loved!

Noah is the guy who made me an aunt (and soon Brian an uncle to 2 nephews) and we're so grateful for him! He has such a big heart, is the best cuddle buddy (when he lets us!), and the smartest guy I know! He loves to kick everyone's butt at games, show us funny videos on YouTube, and attempt to teach me how to play Minecraft. He's growing up so fast and I can't wait to see where life brings him in the next few years!

We're anxiously awaiting the arrival of our 3rd nephew, baby Richardson! His due date to arrive is June 24th, just two days before wedding day! He's still considered one of our most special guests, whether he's still in Maggie's belly or arms when the day comes!
