We would love to see all of our friends and family in their Sunday best! The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/garden party attire. Ladies are welcome to wear sundresses, jumpsuits, a blouse and slacks, etc and the gentlemen are welcome to wear a suit and tie, sports coat, or a collared shirt and slacks/shorts. Please keep the weather in mind however, we want everyone to be comfortable!
North Carolina weather is very unpredictable! We could experience thunderstorms, hot weather, or cool weather during late June. Average daily highs are around 85 degrees and will cool down into a wonderful 65 degrees in the evening. We have planned our ceremony to be more towards sunset so that no one will get too hot, we are also providing ice cold water at the ceremony and reception.
Yes! Thankfully our ceremony deck and reception space are conjoined! We do recommend wearing shoes that are safe on uneven terrain, grass, and gravel for both the ceremony and reception. The bride will be wearing Chacos!
The ceremony is outdoors on a beautiful open deck overlooking a pond, while our reception is in a covered open-air boat house with fans and a beautiful constant natural breeze to help keep us cool and the party going! We recommend wearing hats, sunscreen, and drinking lots of the provided ice-cold water during the ceremony!
Yes! We will have a self-serve, open bar serving only beer and wine. We ask that if you choose to partake, please ensure that you have a designated driver available to take you back to your hotel. There is zero tolerance for drinking and driving. In addition, those who over-do it on the alcohol will be asked to leave the wedding by off duty Holly Springs police officer. This is venue policy. Have fun and celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. responsibly!
