Travel
For those flying down, the closest airport to Castle Ladyhawke is Ashville, NC (AVL). From there it will be approximately a 1 hour and 10 minute drive to the venue.
The recommended lodging will be at Bear Lake Reserve. We have several cabins blocked off for the weekend. Please refer to the letter in the invite to see the cabins closest to the clubhouse and to get 10% off your stay. Be sure to call the number and inform Makenzie that you are attending the Haver Hawkins wedding to get the discount.
Please be advised, the roads in the area are narrow, winding and very steep at certain points. Also it is very dark after night fall, so please drive with care.
We will be working to create a guide to help navigate the reserve. Also if possible, download an offline map before getting close to the reserve as there will be no signal starting at the base of the mountain.
