FAQs

The Wedding Website of Angelica De Leon and Paul Palomo
Hopefully this explains all of the details thoroughly, but if you happen to have any questions feel free to reach out to us before we leave for Mexico. We hope you enjoy our wedding trip in Cancun. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We will be able to see who RSVP'd by reserving their room through our travel agent. It's best to book ASAP as the rooms will be booked fairly quickly. A deposit of $100 can initially be made. Info can be found under the "Travel" tab.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are so happy and appreciative that everyone is making the trip to celebrate with us, but just in case you feel like sending us something, we appreciate anything and everything.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The resort is very accommodating to food allergies. Please make sure to advise them of any special requests.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There are several restaurants at the resort that have dress codes: Casual Elegance Sneakers/tennis shoes or sandals and dress shirts with short sleeves or shirts are required. Long pants are required for men. No sleeveless shirts or flip-flops allowed.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Totally up to you! We will have an activity that is adults only if you are interested in attending, but the resort is very family friendly. Babysitting is available for a fee provided by the resort and the Explorer's club has tons of activities for kids.

Question

What if I want to stay at another hotel?

Answer

We advise everyone to stay at the same resort as we are a wedding party and staying elsewhere might not allow you to have the same benefits regarding the wedding. We will have several activities and will want to interact with everyone throughout the stay, so we would appreciate for everyone to make arrangements through our travel agent. The resort will charge you a guest pass fee to obtain access inside for the wedding only.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES! Please check the expiration date and make sure it does not expire within 6 months of your return date. Get them ASAP as the passport agencies are backed up due to COVID.

Question

How long will you be there?

Answer

We will most likely be staying at the resort from June 20th to the 27th.

Question

Do we have to pay for food and drinks?

Answer

The resort is all-inclusive meaning food and drinks are included. Yes, alcohol too. Tips are appreciated by the staff.

Question

How will we be in touch while we are in Mexico?

Answer

We encourage everyone to download the app called "What's App". We can use that to send messages and place calls while on WiFi. We can keep everyone updated through there. iMessages will also be used for communication so get an iPhone hehe

Question

Do we bring cash?

Answer

Yes. We do recommend bringing cash (small bills also) in order to tip- this is greatly appreciated and generally expected amongst the staff. Otherwise, all of your food, drinks, and activities are paid for as part of your stay! The resort offers a huge variety of activities and non-motorized water sports on site. If you would like to rent motorized water vehicles, they offer them for an additional charge.

Question

Is the area safe?

Answer

Yes, it is safe, the end.
