The south side of Iceland is a popular area for exploring, which is one of the reasons why we chose to get married there!
If you only have a couple days for exploring on your own, Golden Circle is a recommended route (simplified picture above).
There are many hidden gems all over the island, so you will experience breathtaking scenery wherever you go. Also, if you are a big fan of Game of Thrones...Iceland is where a lot of the scenes were filmed!
