In Vietnamese weddings, we have a tradition called Chào bàn, which means “greeting the tables.” It’s a way for us to personally visit each of you, express our gratitude, and share a toast. We want to take a moment to thank you for celebrating this important day with us. Either speeches or games, we are excited to see what your table will have planned for us!
As part of the Chào bàn tradition, we will also be accepting monetary gifts. In Vietnamese culture, these gifts are a meaningful way for our guests to share their blessings, good wishes, and fortunes with us as we begin our new life together.
