Our dream is to have an intimate wedding with the people we love and have supported us throughout our lives and relationship. All invitees will be addressed on the invitations.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Short Answer... No. While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY ROOM?

Answer

As soon as you know you will be joining us! *Please note that there will be other weddings on the surrounding days. Rooms are expected to sell out the closer it gets to the wedding day. If you are not able to secure a room at the resort, you will not be able to attend the wedding as the resort requires all guests to stay on site.* Your room reservation is 100% refundable up to 24 hours before your arrival, and it only takes $1 to reserve and secure your room now. You can make changes (at no additional cost) to your reservation up until November 8th, 2023. Please visit the Hotel + Travel tab to get started on the booking process. *There is NO room block in place holding rooms for our group. Please do not wait to book*

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WEDDING?

Beach Semi Formal or Beach Formal wedding attire Please dress up! It is a wedding after all. We will be having a short beach ceremony, so choose shoes that you'd like to wear in the sand or that are easy to remove. Reception will be at the Grand Palapa where there is a wood floor. Tip for the ladies Keep in mind that we will be on the beach and it may be windy, so short flowy dresses/skirts might keep you from enjoying your time during our wedding. Opt for long flowy dresses or jumpsuits. Tips for the gentlemen Avoid shorts and caps. Opt for button up dress shirt and dress shoes.

Going Unplugged?

YES! We ask that you please put your devices away for the ceremony as it will be professionally captured. Please remain "in the moment" with us. After the ceremony please take as many pictures as you want!

LAST DAY TO BOOK?

Answer

The last day to book with the discounted rate or make any modifications to your reservation is November, 8th 2023. Any modifications after November, 8th will cancel your current reservation and will automatically be rebooked at the current resort rates, which are much higher.

CAN I BOOK THE NON-REFUNDABLE OPTION?

Answer

Yes you can, but be advised that: (1) you will not receive any money back if you need to cancel for any reason, (2) you will not be able to modify your reservation at all (3) you will be charged the full amount at the time of booking. We are asking all of our guests to use our Promo Code: DBWFEB24FPM and book the EVENTS RATE + FREE TRANSFER option because it will include free cancellation up until 24 hrs from arrival and free transportation to/from the airport. We would hate for you to lose any money if you have to cancel your stay.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

Your outfit for the wedding (Please see above), Your outfit for the welcome party (all white attire), Swimwear, Sandals, Sunscreen Although the resort is all-inclusive, we recommend to bring $1 & $5 USD bills to tip the staff. *Please note that some restaurants and bars at the resort require "casual elegance" attire, Lunch - Shorts, bermudas, sarongs and t-shirts are welcome. Sleeveless t-shirts (for men), tank tops, wet clothes, and swimsuits are not allowed. Footwear must be worn at all times. Dinner - Casual Elegance Ladies: Dresses, long pants, capri pants, or a skirt with a blouse Gentlemen: Long dress pants and collared shirt Casual shoes or elegant sandals must be worn. T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, beach sandals, and flip flops are not allowed.

DO I NEED TO TIP?

Answer

Your resort fee has built-in tips for the staff, so you are not obligated to tip the staff. However, if you feel your server/bartender/etc. has delivered exceptional service, then absolutely feel free to tip at your discretion!

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE RESORT?

Our wedding is on THURSDAY, FEBRARY 8TH 2024 Please plan to arrive at least by Wednesday, February 7th. Please take into consideration the possibility of flight delays or flight cancellations when booking flights. We'd hate for you to miss out on celebrating with us!
