Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the San Luis Resort on Galveston Island. The venue is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that all guests can comfortably participate in the celebration.

Can you provide directions to the wedding venue?

Answer

Certainly! FROM HOUSTON Take Interstate 45 South to Galveston. Take the 61st Street exit and turn right (south). Stay on 61st Street to Seawall Boulevard. Turn left (east) at Seawall Boulevard. The San Luis Resort is located past 53rd Street and Seawall Boulevard on the left (north) side. Please plan your route accordingly and allow for any traffic or road conditions. We look forward to celebrating with you at the San Luis Resort!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the ceremony time. You can wait in the lobby until it's time to be seated for the ceremony.

Where can we park?

Answer

There are several parking options available. You may choose to valet park your vehicle at your own expense. Alternatively, you can opt for self-parking in the San Luis self-parking lot located on the backside of the hotel and resort. Additionally, there are self-parking options available on the street behind the hotel as well as on the seawall. It's important to note that seawall parking is free after 6pm and before 10am.

The wedding will be held at the San Luis Hotel & Resort, and the wedding party will be staying on-site. You are more than welcome to book a room at the same hotel for your convenience. Regrettably, the resort does not offer room blocks. However, you can reserve a room at their current rate. We suggest making your accommodation arrangements promptly if you plan to stay at the resort, as availability cannot be guaranteed.

For Men: - Opt for lightweight and breathable fabrics such as linen or cotton. - Consider a dress shirt or a collared polo shirt paired with dress pants or khakis. - While a blazer or a sports coat is not required, you may choose to wear one for a polished look. - Complete your ensemble with loafers, boat shoes, or dressy sandals. Avoid flip-flops or athletic shoes. For Women: - Select comfortable and flowy fabrics like chiffon, silk, or linen. - Embrace sundresses, maxi dresses, or skirts paired with blouses or lightweight tops. - Feel free to explore different colors and prints within the resort attire style. - Opt for wedges, sandals, or dressy flats as your footwear. We are thrilled to provide a delightful dining experience for our cherished guests. To start off, indulge in a selection of appetizers including a fresh fruit display, antipasto table, marinated vegetables, imported and domestic cheeses, and an array of rustic breads. For the main course, savor dishes such as Oven Roasted King Salmon with nicoise olives, capers, and cherry tomatoes, Penne Pasta Bolognese, and Charbroiled Chicken with roasted mushrooms and marsala cream. Accompanying these delectable entrees are sides like Caesar salad, broccolini salad, sliced tomato caprese, sautéed vegetables, smoked gouda potato risotto, and freshly baked rolls. Cap off the meal with an assortment of desserts crafted by the resort chef. Throughout dinner, enjoy Starbucks coffee, iced tea, and a fully stocked open bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including soft drinks.

We regret to inform you that there will not be a virtual wedding celebration available for remote participation. While we understand that not everyone can be physically present, we will make sure to capture and share the special moments from our wedding day through photos and videos.
