Flight

BJX or QRO

León, Guanajuato (BJX) airport is the most used airport to get into San Miguel, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes away. You can also fly into Queretaro (QRO) Airport, a few minutes closer. Both are small and manageable. Volaris is one of the most popular airlines to take with direct flights into León from OAK or SMF, yet American is also is widely used with one stop in Dallas/FtWorth.

Travel Note

Private Driver/Taxis

Vicente Private Driver +52 415 114 0831. * It is customary to give a tip to a private driver but not to street taxis. Hailing a taxi on the street: make sure you ask "How much to get to...." or "Cuanto cuesta hasta... Hotel Tres Fuentes" FIRST, before getting into the taxi. This avoids the Taxista asking for an elevated price at the end of the ride. Anywhere within downtown area should run $70-80 pesos.
