Yes! Children are welcome to celebrate with us. Please note that our venue is located within a state park and includes outdoor areas, natural terrain, and a swimming pool. For the safety of all guests, parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times throughout the event. Children should not be left unattended near the pool, trails, roads, wildlife, or other outdoor areas. By attending, guests acknowledge and accept responsibility for the supervision and safety of their children during the wedding festivities.
We’ve created a Things to Do page with recommendations for exploring Austin, Leander, and Bastrop during your visit.
The dress code is Formal / Semi-Formal. We recommend comfortable shoes if you’ll be walking on grass or uneven surfaces. It will be hot in September.
September in Austin is typically warm, with daytime temperatures often ranging from the mid-80s to low-90s°F (29–34°C). We recommend dressing comfortably and staying hydrated.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we are so grateful to celebrate this day with you. If you would like to honor us with a gift, we are also happy to graciously accept cash gifts or gift cards, which will go toward building and furnishing our new home together. We have created a registry with items that reflect things we truly love and will use in our daily lives. The items listed are suggestions and examples of what we are hoping for as we begin this new chapter. We are also making a conscious effort in our home to reduce plastic use. We prefer materials such as glass, wood, cotton, and other natural or sustainable materials whenever possible, as they better align with our lifestyle. Thank you so much for your love, support, and generosity—it means the world to us as we start this journey together.
Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations. However, we recommend renting Airbnbs since they are cheaper than hotels.
We’re happy to offer transportation from select hotels to the wedding venue in Bastrop for guests who prefer not to drive. However, guests are also very welcome to rent a car for their stay. If you’re staying in Austin, please keep in mind that rideshare services (such as Uber or Lyft) may become costly due to the distance, as Bastrop is located about 30–40 miles away. For convenience and flexibility—especially if you plan to explore the Austin area during your visit—having a rental car is often the most practical option. We’ll share shuttle pickup times and locations closer to the wedding date.
Yes, we encourage you to take photos and share them on social media!
Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance. We will offer a halal option for the dinner.
