Their story started in May of 2023. Angela had just graduated from college, and Jonathan was searching for a stable career. Angela applied for jobs all over the country, but God had other plans. She received a job offer at a local high school in Austin, Texas. Around the same time, Jonathan applied to work at the airport where a friend of his was employed. By September of 2023, Angela had moved to Austin to start her career, and Jonathan was launching his as well. One day, they both decided to try an online dating app and happened across each other's profiles. It was a match!Jonathan invited Angela out, but this was no ordinary first date—he invited her to a gun range followed by dinner. Intrigued by this unusual idea, Angela accepted. They continued dating for a few weeks until Angela received an incredible job offer in Massachusetts. She accepted the position and decided to move back to New England. Even though a long-distance relationship would be difficult, Jonathan refused to let her go. He knew he had met the woman of his dreams and that she was the one for him. Thanks to his airport job benefits, he was able to fly out to visit her every single month. In January of 2025, Jonathan and Angela traveled to Bolivia to visit Angela’s mother. Jonathan wanted to meet her in person and ask for her daughter's hand in marriage. A few months later, in April of 2025, they got engaged after Jonathan proposed at the Austin Animal Sanctuary!
