Angela and Anton first met in Philadelphia at the apartment building where they lived, during what turned into the longest cornhole game either had ever played. A few months later, a mutual friend reintroduced them, and they made plans for a hiking trip. Over time, they went on plenty of 'friend dates' before realizing what was really happening. From the beginning, they both sensed that their relationship was different—easy, genuine, and grounded in trust. Each had been through their share of uncertainty, but together they found something steady and light. Anton supported Angela as she completed her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Angela stood by Anton as he became a U.S. citizen and petitioned to bring his family here. When Angela’s father passed away, Anton was there with unwavering love and comfort. In the summer of 2024, they moved to Milwaukee together and are thrilled to continue building their life together.
