Bride's Favorite! This amazing location has everything you could want in a swimming spot. Located on the Pemigewasset River, there are sandy beaches, flat rocks to lay on, rocks to jump off of, rope swings, waterfalls and deep clear water. A short 11 minutes from downtown Plymouth! Groom's Favorite! A trip into the Flume begins and ends at the Flume Visitor's Center. Guests can choose to walk through just the Gorge or do a two mile loop. The walk includes uphill walking and lots of stairs. The boardwalk allows you to look closely at the growth of flowers, ferns and mosses found here. This is about a 25 minute drive from downtown Plymouth.
A hidden gem in Plymouth with very few people and FREE. A beginner 1.2 miles out-and-back hike leading to the waterfall. The waterfall is beautiful with the main fall dividing into two falls. For those daring and able to climb to the top of the the fall will be rewarded with a very nice view.
Foster's Boiler Room is located inside The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth, N.H. and serves a variety of fine American foods, from light fare to hearty selections, served in their lively pub, or fire-side in their Abenaki dining room.
Wine tasting are available throughout the day and the staff is wonderful! We went here the day before the proposal for a tasting and sandwiches. Food and Wine Magazine included Hermit Woods Winery on their 2017 wine guide of “500 Best Wineries in America”
Stop at Seven Birches Winery on your way up to Flume Gorge! The tasting room is open daily for tastings and weekly for their "Meet the Winemakers' Winery Tour." Seven Birches is also a short 5 min drive to the Woodstock Inn & Brewery if you're interested in hitting up both.
