Aneesha and Alex both attended Tulane University in New Orleans but never met there. They met many years later in 2015 at a mutual Tulane friends wedding - Jenna Rosen and DJ Reich in New Orleans. They immediately clicked as the two Midwestern transplants at the wedding. Aneesha was living in Chicago at the time finishing up graduate school in Urban Planning and Alex was working in Minneapolis. After two years of long distance dating and many Blue Line to Blue Line weekend trips between their two cities, Aneesha moved to Minneapolis in December 2016 on a blustery -18 degree day. Soon after Paws completed their family. After the doozy 2020 (and 2021) has been, we can't wait to see you on other-side of this with a big celebration of love, family, and friendships that have spanned the decades. We did tie the knot in a small ceremony in June 2021 at Alex's childhood home in New Jersey with just our immediate family - but look forward to celebrating now with all our loved ones. We welcome you to Minneapolis and can't wait for you to experience all the Twin Cities has to offer and see why we've fallen in love with our adopted hometown.
