FAQs

Question

What are the COVID-19 protocols in New Orleans?

Answer

As of January 12, 2022, an indoor mask mandate is in effect for the city of New Orleans. Masks will be required in all public indoor spaces. Vaccine cards (with proof of two doses, except for those who have received one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) or a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before entry are required to enter restaurants, bars, casinos, etc. Please refer to the below website for the most up to date information regarding New Orleans COVID-19 protocols: https://ready.nola.gov/incident/coronavirus/safe-reopening/

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. The weather in New Orleans can be unpredictable, even in February, so be prepared to plan accordingly if jackets or umbrellas are needed. The reception will be held in a covered tent.

Question

What time should we be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm on February 5th at Saint Mary's Catholic Church. We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes beforehand to grab a seat!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation states "and Guest", then yes, you may bring someone as your plus one. If it does not, then we kindly ask that it just be you who comes.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

The wedding will be adults only. We want you all to have a night to dance and drink with no parental responsibilities!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided as the hotel blocks are near the ceremony/reception location and it is difficult for larger buses to travel through the French Quarter. Additionally, the church is connected to the reception venue and we will be Second Lining to a bar at the end of the night to continue the celebrations!

Question

Are there any other wedding-related festivities?

Answer

YES! We understand a majority of our guests will be traveling to New Orleans for our wedding, so family is hosting a Welcome Party on Thursday night for all wedding guests. Please refer to the Schedule section of the website for details on the entire weekend.
