Please RSVP by Saturday, September 10th
We will be gathering in a ventilated indoor space. We are not planning on requiring anyone to wear a mask, but obviously you are more than welcome to wear one if you so choose. Please note that since we are gathering on Vanderbilt University property, we will be required to honor any mask, vaccine, or testing mandates that the university might decide to put in place between now and our wedding day. We of course ask that you take the necessary steps to monitor your own health in the days leading up to our wedding, and if you are feeling ill, please do not attend.
The ceremony will begin at 2:30pm. You will not be able to get into the chapel before 2pm. The nearest available parking is about a 3-5 minute walk from the chapel, so please take that into account as you plan your time.
There is no parking available at the chapel. There are several garages and lots available within reasonable walking distance of the chapel. The nearest one is the 2525 West End Garage. We recommend carpooling or taking a Lyft or Uber if possible and/or planning where to park ahead of time. There are places where you can make parking reservations ahead of time. Please consider the time it will take for you to walk from your parking spot to the chapel. If you are worried about walking distance or have any other concerns about parking, please text Shelby!
Due to space restrictions in the chapel, we ask that you do not bring anyone who is not listed on your invitation.
We will be having a light charcuterie spread for the reception, an open bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and, of course, desserts. Due to the time of our reception, we will not be providing a full lunch or dinner, so please plan your day accordingly.
Of course! If you have allergies or any concerns about food, please reach out!
Per Vanderbilt University policy and our agreement with the chapel: Tobacco, illegal drugs, firearms, fireworks, and explosives are strictly prohibited. If any prohibited items are seen or suspected Vanderbilt Police will be called immediately. The event is subject to immediate cancellation, if these items are brought on campus. (Smokers must go off campus to smoke.)
