Driving

Red Mountain Alpine Lodge is located on Red Mountain Pass about 25 minutes south of Ouray. The drive from Ouray is along the "Million Dollar Highway" and while being absolutely stunning, may be a little intimidating for our non-Colorado residents ;) Take it slow and enjoy the view! If you are local with us in the Roaring Fork Valley it will take approximately 3.5 hours to get to the lodge via Grand Junction.

The closest major airport is Grand Junction Regional and is approximately a 2 hour drive from Ouray.

Lodging

All guests are encouraged to stay with us at the lodge and on the nearby Forest Service land for the weekend. We will offer beds int he lodge if able but please be prepared to camp! We are here to help facilitate what you need to be comfortable. You should have received an email from us regarding sleeping arrangements. There are hotels in Ouray and Silverton; however, due to the intimidating roads down the pass we suggest you stay with us! *If you are drinking we will absolutely require you to stay!*

Pre & Post Wedding

We encourage everyone to explore the area for as long as possible before or after wedding day! There are hotels and airbnbs throughout the area - Ouray, Telluride, Silverton and camp spots galore! Us and our families will be in Ouray by Wednesday so if you'd like to come early and hang with us please let us know! Let us know as you make travel plans and we can give advice or answer questions.
