Question

Gifts

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is a good enough present! But should you wish to mark the start of our married life with a gift, we'd gladly accept ;) Having both been around for a bit, we've got everything we need for our home, so a contribution to making our honeymoon in The Maldives an adventure we'll never forget would be much appreciated. - BYOB Friday night if you want an alcoholic drink or two - continental breakfast is supplied for everyone across both days - should you feel peckish on Saturday before the ceremony, feel free to bring your own food to store in either the main kitchen fridge (for house guests), or the fridges in the other accommodation (coach house kitchens / east wing apartment kitchen / yacht club kitchen) - tea, coffee and squash provided all weekend in all kitchens - no food or drink in the bedrooms

Question

Important information about the house and grounds - please read

Answer

North Cadbury Court is a private family-owned house dating back to 1300 and is NOT a hotel. We have been encouraged to enjoy the house as a family home, so you are free to wander throughout the house and surrounding gardens, and respectfully enjoy the house as your own home. With that in mind please do make use of all the house facilities – you have tennis, rooftop golf, swimming pool, sauna and the jacuzzi all to enjoy, so get involved. Food and Drinks during your stay We have some local staff kindly coming in to help prepare and clear some of our meals. Please make them feel welcome and note they are not your personal butler for the weekend. If you feel like tea or coffee, please help yourself in the house kitchen, but pop your cup in the dishwasher. No food or drink in the bedrooms please. Important – please read Please familiarise yourself with the Guest Information supplied in each room. PLEASE be careful, this is a very old house with lots of creaky floorboards and we don’t want any accidents or injuries with people falling and hurting themselves on the property. Please take particular care with the snooker table – Strictly NO drinks are to be put on this table! Please also be extremely careful when climbing up to the roof or going down the small stairs to the cellar disco, both have very precarious entry and exits! Bedrooms As this is a private house there won’t be any staff making beds, tidying towels etc Emergencies There is a list of emergency contact numbers in the blue book in the kitchen

Question

Q: "We're not sleeping at NCC, can we come early on the Saturday/say goodbye on the Sunday?"

Answer

Abso-frickin-lutely! Sorry we can't have everyone stay onsite, but if you'd like to swing by on Sunday to chill and say goodbye, please do! And you're more than welcome to arrive earlier on the Saturday should you want to mooch about the house before the day gets underway proper.
