Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore little kids, we ask that children under 18 not attend. If your invite was addressed with "family", this includes the children that meet this criteria.

Are we responsible for our own hotel/accommodations?

Answer

As much as we would love to cover the cost for everyone to attend our wedding, we do not have enough within our budget to do so. The "Travel" tab has a few nearby hotel options, but if you prefer to look around yourself to make the best selection, we encourage you to do so! If directions are needed from a hotel to the venue, we will be happy to provide it! Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We aren't expecting black-tie, but I mean, it's a wedding so you should dress up a bit. Wear something that makes you smile, because you'll be doing a lot of that! And dancing! The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors, if that helps you decide on your shoes, ladies.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Ideally, as soon as possible. The sooner we get a full head count, the sooner we will be able to finalize a lot of finishing touches. But no later than July 1st, 2023 so we have plenty of time to panic about other things.

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Let us know! I am sure we can make that happen!

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. We are asking for donations toward plans for home renovations and other projects in lieu of traditional gifts. With that said, any consideration is appreciated!

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

We will be using the wedding website to manage as much as possible because it is WAY easier than Excel. Please use the RSVP portal through Zola so that as much human error is removed from the process as possible.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Pictures while we exchange vows are fine, but you'll be missing the moment. Also, I'm paying someone to do it so that you don't have to! If you do take pictures during the ceremony, we ask that you try to remain as out-of-other-people's-way as possible. Please also be sure any shutter sounds are silenced and be nice if you have a big fancy clacky camera. Also, please make sure phones are on silent.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

We have made every effort to accommodate the dietary restrictions that we are already aware of. If you have a restriction, please let us know so that we can be sure there's something there for you to eat!
