Question

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

On this website, click on the RSVP tab. Zola will guide you through this process.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is September 17. You do not need to mail back RSVPs. We are asking everyone to RSVP online through our wedding website. Go to the RSVP page to see all the events to RSVP to.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

“You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.”

Question

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

We will communicate through the website and you will also receive an email and/or text.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome, especially for those who are from out of town. If you live in town, kids are still welcome, but if you can make arrangements ahead of time and leave the kids at home for a relaxing and enjoyable evening, that would be great too. Do what works best for you. If you do plan on brining your kids, please let us know when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough, but if you're feeling particularly generous you can contribute what you wish to our home fund by going to the "Registry" tab on this website.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception will be indoors.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Beautiful. Average temperature for that time of year is low 70s, but can fluctuate by 15 degrees in either directions, so be prepared. In the event of rain, we will be having the ceremony and reception at the reception venue.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, Andy and I will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests can walk around the park for a little, or head straight to the reception hall for cocktail hour where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

For the ceremony at Elmwood Park Grotto, there is free parking. For the reception, there is limited parking near the venue; however, we also have permission to use the parking nearby at: One Hope Church 5612 Corby St. Omaha, NE 68104

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

I have a gluten and dairy allergy. So there will be a variety of options. Please let me know ahead of time if you have any allergies so that we can accommodate.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided. Please make arrangements ahead of time for your own transportation.

Question

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Omaha?

Answer

Go to the "Things to Do" tab on this website. I have provided a list of fun things that Andy and I like to do.

Question

When will the reception end?

Answer

The reception ends at 11 pm. We will need to clean up the venue before we leave.
