Shuttle

Shuttle To and From Piccione

Departure from Fairfield Inn & Suites, Elkin You’ll be looking for a small bus branded “Silver Fox,” with a sign with our names. Shuttle Hotel Departure Point of Contact: please text Glen (Megan’s uncle) at 404-932-8633 for last-minute questions or if you are running a few minutes late. He will let you know if the shuttle is still there or if it has left. If you miss the shuttle and would like it to come back for you after 4:45 pm, please text Nancy Ess (our wedding coordinator) at 336-408-1435. Return to Fairfield Inn & Suites Three departures: Approximately 7:45 pm 8:45 pm 10 pm (end of the party)

Parking at Piccione

There is plenty of parking available in the main lot at Piccione, if you would prefer to drive yourself. We just ask that you make a plan to drive home safely.

Lodging: There are many VRBO, Airbnb, and boutique hotels in the area as well. Feel free to find accommodation that fits your needs. Travel: We highly recommend reserving a rental car. The area around Elkin can be very rural and ride share (Uber/Lyft) are not reliable or widely available here.

Flight

CLT Airport

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is the largest in the region, and is likely to have the most flights available. Please note that the hotel and venue are about an hour north of Charlotte and ride share (Uber/Lyft) isn't a good option. We recommend renting a car. Please contact us if you need assistance getting to or from the airport! Other nearby airports include: Greensboro (GSO): 1 hour away Raleigh-Durham (RDU): 2 hours away Asheville (AVL): 2 hours away
