Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a wedding block available, we recommend staying there or other accommodations in Charlottesville. The venue is about an hour from Harrisonburg and an hour and a half from Richmond.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend either the Charlottesville or Richmond airport. The Charlottesville airport is approximately 20 minutes from the hotel and venue. The Richmond airport is about an hour from Charlottesville. Both airports are small and easy to navigate.

Are my kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love your kiddos, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. That said, we know some of you may be travelling with your kids, so they are more than welcome to attend the picnic on Sunday (more details to follow)!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather allowing, the ceremony will be held outside. Please plan accordingly.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is Garden Party. If you hear “garden party” and think “I have no idea what to wear”, no worries, we got you. Garden party attire is semi-formal, whimsical, and designed to be worn outdoors. This means flowy dresses, breathable fabrics, and lightweight suits or suit separates in soft colors. This is also a good time to wear shoes that can navigate uneven terrain. We know many of you have superb taste, so please feel free to get funky with your outfits. Let your fashion sensibilities guide you! Ultimately, we want you to wear whatever makes you comfortable (just without the jeans).

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our lovely photographer will take many photos and we are more than happy to share with anyone who asks. Once the ceremony is over, we would love for you to take photos and share them with us.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We will have several vegan and gluten free (Celiac friendly) options throughout the evening. If you have other dietary restrictions, please reach out to either the bride or groom and let them know!
