FAQs

The Wedding Website of Audrey Thomas and Andrew Schroepfer
Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP by Sunday, August 16th, 2026.

Question

What is the venue's address? Is it wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at: The Augusta Club 8048 WI-57 Baileys Harbor, WI 54202 The inside of our venue is wheelchair accessible from the front of the building. Once inside, the bathrooms and bar area are on the main floor, however there are a few nooks and areas with differing levels of a step or two that would require assistance to navigate.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to find parking, walk to the ceremony space, enjoy our prelude music and views of the lake, and get acquainted with other guests. When you arrive, please walk around back through the parking lot to the tent behind the venue where the ceremony will take place. The building itself will be locked until after the ceremony, so please plan accordingly for bathroom needs.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We're asking guests to wear semi-formal/formal attire, like suits and cocktail dresses or evening gowns. Much of the day will take place outdoors under a tent right on the shores of Lake Michigan, so consider a breeze as you plan your outfit and hair. The Augusta Club is a vintage-modern venue offering classic supper club vibes of the 50’s and 60’s, so feel free to embrace the vibe!

Question

Are children invited? What about a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation is for the specific guests named on the invite only. Unfortunately, due to the limited capacity of our venue, we were unable to extend the invitation to everyone's little ones or additional guests. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can still join us for our special day!

Question

Have you set up a hotel block?

Answer

We have not. Hotel blocks are not common in Door County due to their unique lodging landscape. There are lots of houses, cottages, B&Bs, and hotels throughout the peninsula, making it ideal to find a rental that suits your needs! We recommend researching and booking your stay as soon as possible to ensure availability. We have provided a variety of options on the Travel page of our website!

Question

What are the parking and transportation options?

Answer

The Augusta Club is centrally located on the main drag in Baileys Harbor, and the area is very walkable. Plan to snag a parking spot along highway 57, or one of the side streets in the area. Uber and Lyft drivers do service the area, but availability can be unpredictable. If you would like taxi service, we recommend checking out Door County Cab where you can usually get a ride within 15 minutes of calling. For more info: www.doorcountycab.org

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence on our big day is the greatest gift we could ask for! We've set up a registry with a few favorite items, as well as a cash fund to help us with future goals, should you wish to contribute. This can be found on the Registry page of our wedding website.

Question

Can I take pictures with my phone/camera during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We want you to capture moments and have fun with our wedding hashtag! However, we have also hired a professional photographer to capture every moment. We kindly ask that you use your best discretion to not interrupt the ceremony or get in the way of the official photo team's shots. Please stay seated during the ceremony and allow them the space they need to do their best work. We promise to share the beautiful images with you all afterward!

Question

Is this a beach wedding?

Answer

The Augusta Club does sit on the shores of Lake Michigan, but the outdoor area we will be celebrating on is grass.

Question

Will there be gluten-free food options?

Answer

Yes! A wood-fired pizza truck will be catering our dinner, and they are able to make any of the pizzas gluten-free by request. Cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and desserts will also include gluten free options.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We'll be hosting an open bar featuring select beer, wine and signature drinks during cocktail hour and a portion of the reception. After that, it will transition to a cash bar for the remainder of the evening. We'll have a sign at the bar with details! Bringing in any outside drinks is prohibited. We promise to have a variety of tasty options!

Question

After party?

Answer

We have to be out of the venue by 10:30pm. The Blue Ox across the street is open 'til bar close and recommended for some additional celebration!
