One February evening in 2022 during a snow squall, people gathered for a few of the only things that can lure Wisconsinites out of their cozy homes in the winter - puppies, a brewery and a good cause. Lucky 7 Dog Rescue was holding its annual Bark & Wine fundraiser at Titletown Brewing Company, where dog lovers come to support the rescue's mission, drink delicious, local beverages and snuggle a fresh litter of puppies (we know - what could be better???). Audrey, a volunteer with the rescue, was set up at the first wine pouring station. As guests filtered in and began redeeming their tickets for drinks, Andy appeared at Audrey's station. A short interaction and exchange of smiles and wine took place... looking back, Audrey remembers Andy's "sparkly eyes" and time slowing down, and Andy says there was "just something there." That introduction, accompanied by an Instagram DM and a first date back on the roof top at Titletown, sparked the amazing journey they've been on since.
