We met a few days prior to our first date on a Christian dating app (a true 21st Century love story, haha) and initially bonded over our shared faith! We quickly thereafter realized that we were both in Purdue's College of Agriculture, we both loved our internships in college, and we were both crazy about the same treats: popcorn & ice cream! In other words, our friendship was already off to a pretty good start...In pursuit of this aforementioned ice cream, we had our first date at the best ice cream shop in West Lafayette, Silver Dipper. We both felt a warm spark grow as our conversation flowed on that sunny day, and realized that there might be something pretty special about this person we had both just met! (Spoiler alert, we were right!☺)
