what is the dress code?

our wedding will be formal attire with a Texas summer flair. festivities will be indoors with the exception of a post-ceremony cocktail/hors d'oeuvres reception, but it will be warm, so please plan accordingly! for further fashion tips and tricks, formal attire includes long (typically floor length) dresses or jumpsuits for women and tailored suits or tuxes for men.

what are the details of the wedding events?

our reception will be at The Marty Leonard Community Chapel, followed by a reception at The Ashton Depot. more details are available on our schedule page!

what time should i arrive to the ceremony?

our ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. at The Marty Leonard Community Chapel. please plan to arrive between 20-30 minutes before to give yourself enough time to get seated. doors will close promptly at the start time!

will there be parking?

Answer

the chapel has a small public parking lot, with some street parking in the surrounding area. our reception venue, approximately 15 minutes away from the chapel, will have valet parking. that said, if you plan on raising a few glasses in celebration, please plan to Uber to ensure you get home safe!

while we love kiddos, our ceremony and reception will be child free. thank you for understanding and respecting our wishes!

since space for our special day is limited, we are only able to accommodate people formally invited on your wedding invitation. thank you for your understanding!

can i take some photos during the ceremony?

Answer

we kindly ask that all guests keep their personal cameras and cell phones (silenced, please!) away during our ceremony. take the opportunity to unplug and share this special moment with us, and we will let the professionals work their magic!
