What is the dress code?

Cocktail Attire. The ceremony and reception are in a field, please consider this when choosing your shoes. We highly recommend that ladies opt for wedge heels, block heels, or flats over pointed heels.

Are my children welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is an adult-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us. Thank you for understanding!

What is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask you RSVP by August 15th.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We plan for our ceremony and cocktail hour to be outdoors. The reception will be in a heated tent. Should it rain, all events will be moved to the tent.

What is the weather like?

Answer

October temperatures in Maine can vary greatly -- from lows of 45°F/7°C to highs of 75°F/24°C. We hope for great weather, but please consider bringing layers. The tent will be heated!

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive no later than 2:45 pm. We hope to start the ceremony right at 3 pm. There will be some light beverages available before the ceremony.

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking will be limited! Please see the layout of the venue for parking options. The BBQ, red barn, and "overflow" parking will be used for parking. Please consider carpooling or taking the shuttle.

Is there transportation from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

We will have a shuttle to and from the venue from the Comfort Inn hotel in Ellsworth. Please record if you plan to use the shuttle service when you RSVP.
