Is there a dress code?

Wedding Attire Palette Our celebration will be semi-formal in style, cocktail dresses, suits, or jackets and ties are most fitting. We would be delighted if your attire drew inspiration from the palette of our day. Is there a block of hotel rooms reserved for guests of the wedding?

Answer

We have set up a wedding hotel booking page for our guests with specially negotiated group rates here: https://hotelblocks.zola.com/EventPage8260712 These rates are special group rates that are typically very large discounts that are not available to the general public. Please note that there is a JMU home football game on the same weekend in Harrisonburg, so these rates are subject to availability and may change over time. We recommend booking early to secure the best pricing. We’re excited to celebrate with you and hope this helps make your planning a little easier!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you’ll be joining us by August 31st so we can plan all the fun details accordingly. Your RSVP helps us make sure there’s a seat (and a slice of cake!) with your name on it.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Cocktail hour will begin at 5:00 PM, featuring a show-stopping charcuterie spread and refreshments to enjoy as you arrive. We recommend joining us between 5:00 and 5:15 PM to mingle, sip, and settle in. We kindly ask that all guests be seated by 6:30 PM, as our ceremony will begin promptly, followed by an evening of celebration, dinner, and dancing!

Can I bring a plus one?

If you’d like to bring a guest, we totally get it! Having a wedding sidekick can make the celebration even more fun! Just send a quick note to andrewurbanowicz1@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
