Garden or cocktail attire is great. Keep in mind, it will be July and we do plan on having our ceremony outside, so dress nice - and cool :)
The way your invitation was addressed should help answer that. If you're invitation just says your name, then we'd love for YOU to join us in celebrating our special day.
Yes! The McPherson has a private lot directly across the street. You can even leave your car in the lot that night if needed. There should be enough parking spaces, but if you can carpool with someone else from the wedding, that would help ensure there are enough spaces for everyone!
The venue recommends dropping off individuals with mobility concerns at the driveway of the McPherson. The driveway provides an even, level surface to enter the ceremony and venue through the garden gates. Ample parking is available directly across the street in the McPherson parking lot.
We are asking everyone to silence their phones and put them away as well as your cameras, during our ceremony. We appreciate you being fully present with us and allowing our professionals to capture the ceremony without cell phones interfering with their work.
Our reception will be served family style so no need to send in any dinner choices -- you can just choose at your table. We will have some appetizers during cocktail hour. Then for our family-style dinner, we'll have Ceasar salad and rolls, brisket in BBQ sauce, pancetta-encrusted pork, beans and carrots, Vesuvio potatoes, and pasta con broccoli. If you have any dietary restrictions, you can write those on your RSVP and another option will be provided for you.
Yes, we'll have an open bar with a selection of wine, beer, liquor, and two signature cocktails!
What a question! St. Louis has a lot of great food. Maybe start with dessert first and check out Ted Drewes famous frozen custard! If you're looking for some options near the hotel/venue, Twisted Ranch boasts around 30 different types of ranch to try alongside their food or Hitea - one of Andy's go-to lunch spots when he worked at the Central West End branch. Looking for some variety, check out City Foundary - a food hall which has around 20 restaurant options - where everyone can find food they'll love. To find some toasted ravioli or some Italian fare, check out The Hill, our Little Italy, which has many great restaurants such as Guido's and Charlie Gitto's, and even something sweet at Gelato di Riso. For some great BBQ, Pappy's is an STL institution (but you should expect a wait). Some other good BBQ joints, that won't have as long of a wait, are Sugarfire and Salt + Smoke.
