The closest airport is Amerigo Vespucci Airport (Aeroporto Amerigo Vespucci) in Florence. You can also arrive by train if traveling within Italy!
If you’re an American passport holder planning a short vacation (tourist stay of up to 90 days within 180 days) to Italy or most other EU/Schengen countries, as of beginning 2026, the European Union is rolling out a new entry requirement called ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System). U.S. travelers will need to apply online in advance for an ETIAS travel authorization before visiting Italy or other participating European countries. This is not a visa, but it will be required for visa-free travel and is valid for multiple trips over three years or until your passport expires. Plan to apply for the ETIAS authorization before your trip. (Note: Requirements can change. Always check official government sources before you travel.)
Please RSVP by clicking on the RSVP tab and typing your full name exactly as it appears on the invitation. Then complete the online form on the website. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
To help us in the planning process, we kindly ask that you RSVP by August 1st. Your timely response will help us create a seamless and joyous celebration. If we do not receive your RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.
You will be dearly missed! If you already know you cannot attend, please let us know in the Pre-RSVP. If you are hoping to attend, you can indicate 'attending' in the Pre-RSVP, and later, when the formal RSVP is sent, you will be able to update your response if plans change. If you have already RSVP'd 'attending', but later find out you cannot make it, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If a plus-one had been given to you, your invitation will be addressed as [Your Name] + [Guest]. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Thank you for understanding.
We love your little ones, however, we are hosting a child free wedding so that everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration. You’re welcome to bring your children on the trip, and we’re happy to share recommendations for local sitter options in the area if needed. We hope you understand our decision, and we look forward to celebrating this special day with you!
We kindly ask you to not bring any gifts, your presence is our present.
Our wedding will have a black tie optional dress code. For gentlemen, a suit or tuxedo, and for ladies, floor-length or midi-length dresses. We recommend wedges or block heels as the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. We can't wait to see you dressed up! Please plan with the weather in mind, as both the ceremony and reception are outdoors.
In October, Florence enjoys mild autumn weather, with daytime temperatures averaging 14–21 °C (57–70 °F) and nighttime temperatures cooling to around 10–13 °C (50–55 °F). Evenings can feel crisp, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap. Since both the ceremony and reception are outdoors, breathable layers are ideal for the day, with an extra layer for comfort at night.
We recommend arriving at 4 P.M. to ensure you're seated and ready for the festivities!
Please visit the 'travel' tab on our website to see more accommodation details.
Both the ceremony and reception will be located outdoors.
Yes! We will provide shuttle services to and from the venue, with pickup times and locations shared closer to the date. You are of course more than welcome to arrange your own transportation (such as a taxi or private driver), but we wanted to make it easy for everyone to get to and from the venue. Note: If you choose to drive, please keep in mind that Italy’s legal tolerance for drinking and driving is much lower than in the United States. For everyone’s safety, we strongly recommend using the shuttle service or a taxi if you plan to drink.
