The Wedding Website of Andrew Graves and Rachel Lane
WHERE TO STAY We suggest staying in either Charlottesville or Lovingston, depending on the kind of weekend you’d like. Charlottesville is about a 40-minute drive from the winery and offers a wider variety of restaurants, shops, and activities. It’s a great choice if you’d like to explore more of the area during your stay. Here's a guide for places to stay in Charlottesville: https://www.visitcharlottesville.org/places-to-stay/ Lovingston is closer to the venue, making it a convenient option for the wedding festivities. Dining and entertainment options in the immediate area are more limited outside of our planned events. We will be sending an email with recommended lodging options in Lovingston. TRANSPORTATION If you’re flying in, we recommend renting a car. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are limited in the Lovingston area, especially near the venue. AIRPORTS For guests traveling from out of town, we recommend flying into one of the following airports:

Flight

Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO)

The closest airport to both Charlottesville and Lovingston Winery, CHO is a convenient option for most guests. It’s located about 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and the University of Virginia area, and offers the shortest overall drive to the wedding venue.

Flight

Richmond International Airport (RIC)

RIC is approximately a 1-hour drive from Charlottesville and about 2 hours from Lovingston Winery. This airport may be a great option if you’re able to find a direct flight from your home city.

Flight

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Located near Washington, D.C., IAD is about a 2-hour drive from Charlottesville and roughly 2.5 hours from Lovingston Winery. This airport can be a convenient choice if direct flights are available.

Flight

Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH)

A smaller regional airport, LYH may be a good option for guests staying near Lynchburg or Lovingston. Travel time to the venue is comparable to flying into Charlottesville.
