When should I RSVP by?

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive by 4:30 PM to allow time to find a seat before the ceremony starts.

ARE UBERS/LYFTS AVAILABLE IN THE AREA?
Answer
Because Lovingston is a rural area, rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are very limited and may be difficult to secure. Charlottesville is about a 40-minute drive from the venue. If you’re flying in, we strongly recommend renting a car for your group to ensure reliable transportation throughout the weekend.

IS THE VENUE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Answer
Our ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting) at Lovingston Winery. The reception will follow in a covered, open-air indoor space. May in Virginia is typically warm, with sunset around 8:30 PM, so we recommend dressing comfortably for a pleasant spring evening.

WILL FOOD AND DRINK BE PROVIDED?
Answer
Yes! We’ll be serving appetizers (fruit, vegetable, and cheese displays), as well as wine, beer, tea, lemonade, and water. Dinner will be a buffet-style BBQ with vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options available.

IS THERE A HOTEL BLOCK RESERVED FOR THE WEDDING?

We did not reserve a hotel block, but feel free to ask us for recommendations in the area! Here's a guide for places to stay in Charlottesville: https://www.visitcharlottesville.org/places-to-stay/ We will be sending an email with recommended lodging options in Lovingston.

WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE SERVICE TO AND FROM THE WEDDING?
Answer
As we did not reserve a hotel block, we will not be providing shuttle service. Please plan accordingly and arrange transportation in advance.

IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?
Answer
Yes! There is ample on-site parking available for all guests.

CAN I BRING A DATE?
Answer
Due to venue capacity, we’re only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.
