Maid of Honor
Peyton was in my freshman recruitment group and lived two doors down from me in my dorm. Our friendship grew very quickly because we have the same sense of humor (we still laugh at SpongeBob) and some similar preferences. We have since then lived together for two years, led Young Life together, and shared countless tears and laughs. She even moved to Nashville when I did! She's currently the best 6th grade math teacher I know. She is an amazing best friend and I'm honored to have her as my Maid of Honor.
Best Man
Caleb and I became friends in college during our freshman year, but it wasn't until our junior year that we realized we were something like kindred spirits. Our friendship was forged by our mutual love of the NFL, passion for youth ministry, and appreciation of National Treasure 2: The Good One. Though he's busy nowadays killing it as Louisiana's best sportswriter, he still manages to be an incredible friend and support from afar. Give him a follow on Instagram.
Matron of Honor
I have known Mikayla from what feels like birth. She and her sister Megan were in my very first dance class when we were three years old. Growing up, I was the Kimmy Gibbler of Mikayla and Megan's household. We have been through every awkward life stage together and she hasn't left me yet. Mikayla has supported me like crazy through it all, and she is the closest thing I have to a sister. She now lives in New York City with her husband Ryce!
Best Man
Victor was my first college friend and roommate. We had been randomly assigned to each other, but it was clear those first few weeks at Union we were destined to be lifelong friends--or at the very least, hospital companions. He is my favorite combo photographer/chef/donkey basketball player/ordained Missourian minister. I was honored to stand by Victor as his best man, and I'm proud to have a friend like him standing as mine.
Bridesmaid
Blair was the first person I saw as I showed up on the doorstep of Oklahoma State. She lived right next to me in the dorm and was in my sorority recruitment group. Blair has always felt like home to me because of this! We've led on the same YL team and lived in the same house for a year. Blair really gets me and I am honored to have her by my side on our day.
Groomsman
Matt has been one of my best friends since the eighth grade. We've been teammates and bandmates and late-night donut run companions ever since. Then when I wasn't looking, he went and married my sister. It was very sneaky of him. Now he's my brother, which has made our friendship that much more fun. Also, he has a son that I'm trying to brainwash into being a Louisville fan, and that's also fun.
Bridesmaid
I met Joy my Sophomore year of college through her sister, Blair. Joy made her own distinct mark on me from the beginning in the way she intentionally pursued me. She ended up in Stillwater and we lived together for 2 years there. She loved me through some really hard days in ministry, but we had our fair share of late night laughs. I am so excited for her to be my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Good conversations at hole-in-the-wall burrito places can do wonders for a budding friendship. Despite ours getting off on sort of an awkward foot, Seth and I found lifelong friends in one another toward the end of our freshman year. Seth is one of the most relational and adventurous people I know. He runs hard after new hobbies and passions, as well as the hearts of people he cares about. If you like Wes Anderson movies or rock climbing, be Seth's friend.
Bridesmaid
I met Kellie my sophomore year of college at an OSU football game! Go pokes. However, our mutual insanity really blossomed at Hidden Falls Ranch where we were counselors together. Our relationship with Jesus and our lives have grown together for a number of years and I am so thankful for her weirdness and love.
Groomsman
Daniel Roberts is probably the most talented musician and definitely the most passionate Memphian (?) I know. I had the joy of living with Daniel my sophomore and junior years of college. The man can skateboard, drum, do your taxes, and provide impeccable music recommendations, but even more impressive is the loyal friendship he offers. I couldn't be more excited to have him up there with me.
Bridesmaid
I met through Suzanna through YL as I was on staff when she was a leader. She then started student staff for YL and became my roommate! Suz is someone who I consider to be one of my kindred spirits. We have spent many nights in the living room singing "She Used to be Mine" at the top of our lungs. She understood so much of life in ministry with me. I consider her to be one of my dearest friends and can't wait for her to stand with me.
Groomsman
Everyone should know someone like Adam Reinhard. He's goofy and smart, and he quietly dominates any sport you may find him playing. But these things pale in comparison to the humble person, diligent nurse, and kind friend that is Adam. We got to live together for two years in college, and I would not be the person I am today without those two years. Also, I think I beat him in FIFA once.
Bridesmaid
I met Madi when I became a YL leader at OSU. Her silliness and love for dancing are what drew me to her. We got to live together for a year in Stillwater and since then I'm not sure we could ever separate our lives. We both share a passion for Young Life and its people. Madi is an incredible friend and I couldn't have lived through many moments without her encouragement. So excited for her to be in our wedding!
Groomsman
Chris is my older brother and the recipient of many years worth of broken Legos, courtesy of me. Though I am now bigger than he is, I am all too aware of the fact that he can beat me in a fight through his cunning and his wit. Chris is ridiculously intelligent, funny, and kind. He is an experienced world traveler, but I am very thankful to find him standing close by on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I were on the same YL team for 2 years. We shared so many tears, laughs, and moments of stress and joy over the same girls. I am bonded to her forever because of the way she loved high school girls with me. Belly laughing is what I think of when I think of her! I love her a ton and am so excited for her to be a part of our day.
Groomsman
David is my younger brother by three years and was my longest-tenured roommate. It has been a wonderfully strange experience watching him grow into a talented programmer/barista/drummer/beard-grower/pianist/whatever he puts his curious mind to. He is a great friend, and I am very proud to have him standing by me. I am going to make him shave his beard so he looks younger than me.
Bridesmaid
I was Haley's recruitment counselor her freshman year of college. Fast forward a couple of years and she became a YL leader and one of my roommates. Haley has always been very dear to my heart and one of my closest friends. She has supported me so well and is someone who I know will continue to support Andrew and me in our marriage. Can't wait for her to be a part of our day!
Groomsman
Nelson and I became very fast friends when I moved to Johnson City. Many fond memories of that place would utterly incomplete without him present. Fortunately, he joined me back in Nashville so we can continue talking baseball over lunch. Nelson is joyful and goofy and loyal to the end. I am so proud to have a friend like him standing next to me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Libby is Andrew's older sister- she welcomed me into the Parks family immediately when I first met her. We first hit it off by laugh-crying to a game of Catch Phrase and I knew we would be great friends after that. Since then Libby has taken care of me so well and been so welcoming to me. I am so excited for her to be a bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Autry is Mary Grace's older brother and one of the most adventurous people I know. The man can be found rafting through Colorado, backpacking through New Zealand, or trekking around India (where he is currently trekking as I type). Autry is not only a ton of fun to be around, but he has been incredibly kind and warm in welcoming me to the family. I'm honored to have him as my groomsman.
Bridesmaid
When Andrew and I used to make videos back and forth for each other, I received one of the earliest videos from Andrew's sister Katy. She immediately wanted to be my friend before I had even met her. She made me feel so welcome in the Parks family and like I was one of her friends very early on. She is the best and I'm so excited to have her in our wedding!
Groomsman
Riley is the younger of Mary Grace's brotherly duo. He is a fantastically bright and clever future engineer, as well as a formidable board game foe. Riley and his generous heart repeatedly housed me whenever I visited Stillwater, for which I am incredibly thankful to this day. He has welcomed me into the family so kindly, and I am thankful to be gaining another brother in Riley.
