Flight
Reno International (RNO) is the easiest way to get to Incline Village. From Reno it is about an hour's drive and you can easily rent a car at the airport, or take the North Lake Tahoe Express. You can also take a limousine or taxi. Also in Lake Tahoe is the South Lake Tahoe Airport (TVL), and The Truckee -Tahoe Airport (TRK) both are fully operational for private planes and jets, however neither has regular running commercial service.
Train
There are not many destinations these days you can arrive to by train, but Incline Village and North Lake Tahoe is one of them. Amtrak runs a train called the California Zephyr that comes from Sacramento and stops in Truckee, a cute neighboring town you must visit. It's a 30 minute ride to Incline Village from downtown Truckee.
Flight
San Francisco is is within 204.9 miles of Incline Village. If you would like to sightseeing beautiful CA, this option is a great one. However, the quickest way to travel to the Lake Tahoe area is by plane, however commercial flights only go to Reno (about 40 miles away from Lake Tahoe proper). United Airlines operates several non-stop flights from SFO to Reno every day. The flight takes just over one hour.
Flight
The Sacramento International Airport is a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from the wedding venue. Rental cars are available.
