FAQs

If you have any questions, other than those listed here, please reach out to the mother of the bride.
Question

Are you considering a virtual option due to Covid-19 restrictions?

Answer

We are looking into privately live streaming the ceremony for those who can't or won't attend due to the coronavirus or distance. If you prefer to view the ceremony virtually, notify the bride or groom's parents so we know how many people are interested. If you will not be attending the ceremony in person, please select decline on the RSVP page.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome by invitation only. Due to space and budget constraints, we have to set some limits. Please keep in mind that we will not be providing childcare. If children become noisy, we ask you to step outside with them.

Question

Can we take pictures and post to social media?

Answer

We would love to see pictures from our guests' viewpoints but please do not make them public. We will provide a private page link where you can upload pictures. Just please do not interfere with the photographer.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be held in the same location?

Answer

The ceremony, reception, and after party will be held indoors in the same building.

Question

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

There is absolutely no smoking indoors. You may smoke outside but please do not throw cigarettes on the ground.

Question

Will alcohol be provided?

Answer

There are no plans to serve alcohol except for with the toasts. However, you can bring your own for the after party. If you have specific questions about this, please reach out to the mother of the bride.

Question

Is there anything we need to know about the venue?

Answer

The clubhouse where the wedding will take place is at the end of a long, dirt path. Keep that in mind while driving or walking down the path. A parking attendant will show you where you can park near the building but you are free to park anywhere along the path. There is museum equipment on the property. Please do not allow your children to play in or on the items. Do not touch any of the outdoor cooking equipment. Venue rules state no animals due to health regulations anywhere on the property. Don't bring pets and leave them in your vehicles.

Question

Is there an alternate way to RSVP other than by mail? What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Online RSVP can be completed on this website and will be available once the guest list is finalized. The RSVP deadline is October 23, 2020

Question

May I bring a plus one (additional guest)?

Answer

Invitations (not Save the Dates) will clearly indicate how many are invited. If you have questions about this, please contact the mother of the bride.

Question

I can't attend but would like to send the couple a gift; where do I mail a gift?

Answer

Please refer to your Save the Dates or invitations for address or contact the mother of the bride to get address.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

There are three registries for the bride and groom: Amazon, Walmart and Target. Please refer to the registry tab of this website for the links. The items on the registry are to give you ideas. The couple is appreciative of any gifts.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress in semi-formal attire for the wedding and reception: dresses and slacks or suits and dress shirts/pants for men. Please no jeans, shorts, or flip-flops. For the after party, feel free to change into something more casual. Weather in North Carolina can be tricky so please pay attention to forecasts for the area.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 20-40 minutes before ceremony start time so we can start on time. However, please do not arrive an hour or more early.

Question

Will accommodations be made for allergies?

Answer

Yes, within reason. There will no latex or peanuts due to already known allergies. Please contact the mother of the bride to discuss any other allergies.

Question

Will transportation be provided for guests?

Answer

We are working on resolving issues such as designated drivers for those who will consume alcohol and trying to accommodate those of you who have difficulties such as driving at night. Please check back here later.

Question

Will the wedding be postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions?

Answer

As of right now, there are no plans to reschedule. However, as the date approaches, we will consider all orders and make a decision. If we decide to postpone, we will notify guests with a new date. Another option may be to hold the wedding with a reduced guest list but with a virtual option for those unable to attend. We ask if you are sick with a fever and/or cough to please not attend. (November is also flu season). Feel free to wear masks and hand sanitizer will be available.
