If we were guests… this is exactly how we’d do it. Fly into San Diego International Airport and make a mini vacation out of the trip. We’d suggest staying downtown, La Jolla, or Coronado to explore the city and enjoy some beach time. If you have time, a few of our favorite San Diego spots include the San Diego Zoo, the Birch Aquarium, Petco Park, and the USS Midway Museum. Midweek, drive up the coast to San Clemente for the remainder of the weekend. It’s an easy, beautiful drive and the perfect way to slow things down. Thursday kicks off the celebration with our welcome party in San Clemente. Friday is our wedding day. On Saturday, recover the best way possible with a relaxed breakfast and a beach day. Head home on Sunday feeling refreshed and sun-kissed.
