Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Keep in mind this event will be outside, weather permitting. Dress for comfort and for class. No stiletto heels, unless you want to sink into the ground :) Low block heels, wedges, or flats are recommended.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

This time of year could be a wide range of temps & weather. Typically it's warm days and cool nights. Centrally located, there will be a large bonfire lit as the sun sets and temps start to cool. Average High: 75 - 85 °F Average Low: 43 - 53 °F

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will both be located outside to the right of the estate. Cocktail hour takes place on the estate's porch and inside bar.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

Start Time: 4:00 pm Cocktail Hour: 5:00 pm Reception & Dinner: 6:30 pm Live Music: 7:00 pm

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting ceremony & reception will be outdoors. If there is rain in the forecast we will move everything within the estate house.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Spillian, A Place to Revel: 50 Fleischmanns Heights Rd, Fleischmanns, NY 12430 Transportation will be provided for a few spots, favoring larger hotels like Emerson Resort, Hannah Mountain Resort, and Graham & Co. We are going to try our best to provide as many shuttle transportation stops as possible. The exact time and locations are yet to be determined. We encourage our guests to take the shuttle or carpool if driving. Uber & Lyft do not operate in this area.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Parking at the venue is free. There is a lot that holds 25 cars for those of our guests that wish to drive themselves. We encourage our guests to carpool if driving.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. Due to space/budget constraints, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Cocktail Hour: Open Bar with local beer on tap from Upward Brewery (a light pilsner & an IPA), plus a giant charcuterie board. Reception: Continued open bar, family-style dinner where guests can take what they please for all that is offered. Feel free to try everything! Tentative Dinner Menu: Starter: Farmer's market salad with local & seasonal vegetables. Main courses: Braised short rib, apple cider-braised chicken, and mushroom wellington (vegetarian option) Sides: Parmesan risotto, and roasted root vegetables Dessert: An assortment of pastries in lieu of cake. Plus, smores for the bonfire

We are encouraging our guests to take a COVID PCR test prior to attending.

While your attendance at our wedding is all we request, if you want to buy us a gift any monetary contributions towards our future plans would be greatly appreciated.
