Old Town Scottsdale
Great area for shopping, top-notch dining experiences, and thriving nightlife. Ask Laila and Andrew for bar and restaurant advice! This was our old stomping grounds.
Camelback Mountain
Best hike with 360 views of Phoenix. It’s a tough hike though! Bring plenty of water. Not great for little kids.
Desert Botanical Garden
Perfect for families and kids. They have a butterfly exhibit too.
Papago Park
Just minutes from downtown, Papago Park offers exceptional hiking and a wide array of recreational facilities. This was where Laila and Andrew had their second date!
The Short Course at Mountain Shadows
There really is no ends to the number of golf courses you could visit in greater Phoenix. But this is one of our favorites. Par 3 golf course with great views of camelback mountain.
Taliesin West
Explore Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home and desert laboratory, a location inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Superstition Mountains
Mountain range not far from Laila’s and Andrew’s home in Apache Junction, where the Lost Dutchman gold is said to be hidden. Real Arizona desert with saguaro cactus, prickly pears, Joshua trees, and jumping cholla. Good place for a hike if you’re feeling adventurous. Visit the goldfield ghost town while you’re in the area too!

An old salt mining town. Walk around little town, watch the live western shows, ride the train, stop by the saloon, and take a tour thousands of feet underground to see the old salt mines. Keen eyes might notice this is where Laila and Andrew took their engagement photos.
Heard Museum
If you’re more of a museum-goer, here you can explore the rich and vibrant world of American Indian art.
Grand Canyon
One of the World Wonders right in our backyard. If your schedule allows, we recommend making a day trip to see this magnificent site.
Sedona
If you have time in your schedule, we recommend taking a day trip up to Sedona where you can see the famous Red Rocks. This is where vortexes are said to be, and is also known as the Grand Central Station for UFO sitings!
