Snowmass Rodeo - Wednesday Evening
Want to kick off the weekend with a real wild west feeling? The Snowmass rodeo is one of our favorite summer activities to see bull riding, horse roping, barrel racing and more. Please buy tickets in advance at the link below to guarantee entry as this does sell out sometimes. (tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for children). Tickets are on sale now!
Snowmass Summer Concert - Thursday Night
Join us for a free concert at Snowmass Thursday night with great music and views! Bring your own food in for a picnic and enjoy the music and sunset. No reservations or tickets needed. Note you can bring in as much food as you want but you cannot bring in alcohol. Drinks are available for sale at concert.
Maroon Bells Picnic - Friday @ noon
Some of the most photographed mountains in North America for good reason! We have reserved a picnic area for the day with lunch being served between 12 and 1pm. Maroon Bells are super family friendly and don't require a high fitness level to visit! Please RSVP for this event on the RSVP tab as well so we know how much food to provide as well as transportation as cars are super limited up here. Locals who are attending - we encourage biking/ebiking or shuttles. If you cannot attend the picnic but want to go out to the Bells another time (we highly recommend!) follow the link to reserve shuttle tickets to take you here.
Other Activities - Aspen Mountain Gondola Ride
Scenic ride to the top of Aspen Mountain for great views. Also enjoy the Sundeck lodge where you can grab lunch, coffee, or a cocktail while you take in the views!
Smuggler Mountain Hike
Great hike on the edge of town for views to all 4 Aspen ski resorts and town. It is about 3 miles and 800 feet of vertical round trip. Moderate hike for those not used to altitude
Woody Creek Tavern
Rent some e-bikes and head down the Rio Grande trail for lunch outside at this funky bar/ restaurant and favorite hangout of former Aspen legends like Hunter S. Thompson
Snowmass Mountain Biking
Feeling adventurous? Rent a mountain bike and head to Snowmass Mountain to hit the bike park. The gondola will take you up and there are trails of differing ability levels. Lessons are also available. Follow the link below for more information.
Snowmass Rim Trail Hike
Fun hike for those staying in Snowmass - a bit over 3 mile round trip to great views. Hike up to the Ying-Yang and take in the views all over Snowmass
