We met at Holy Cross during Club Ultimate Frisbee practice on the first day of class. We hit it off right away, starting with all the advice and support Andrew, the sophomore biology major, could offer Kerry, the freshman starting the same major. Frisbee practice and team dinners turned into meeting up at mass, which turned into studying together every possible chance, which blossomed into so much more.

Our first date came just a couple months after meeting for the first time, when we agreed we wanted to spend more time together. Andrew planned an amazing night where we took the shuttle from Holy Cross to Faneuil Hall, had dinner at Bencotto in the North End, and got cannolis at Mike's Pastry for dessert. The conversation flowed endlessly all night!

Despite several inches of snow on the ground from a storm the night before, we decided to take a stroll through Great Meadows Wildlife Refuge in Concord, MA. On the lookout deck over the snow covered marsh, Andrew waited patiently for Kerry to finish building her snowman before pulling the ring out, getting down on one knee, and asking Kerry to marry him.
