Nice Shopping mall to buy souvenirs and other stuff, they also have good food court and fine restaurants. This Mall is located in downtown, so unless you're already on that area it might be a little too far from we're staying.
Another shopping mall option, closer to the recommended Hotels.
The Museu Paulista of the University of São Paulo, commonly known as Museu do Ipiranga, is a Brazilian history museum located near the place where Emperor Pedro I proclaimed Brazil's independence.
If you're feeling like exploring more and willing to go a little further, you should check our Brazilian Central Park AKA Ibirapuera Park. Beautiful park with lots of nature and important historical monuments. They have food trucks all over the park so you can be fancy and walk around drinking coconut water from a coconut! Just don't forget to bring cash, or you probably won't be drinking or eating anything. :)
($$) Casa de Francisca, is a charming cultural venue housed in a beautiful historic mansion. This is a place where music, food, and art come together — don’t miss their live jazz over a relaxed Saturday lunch, and come back in the evening for an unforgettable samba night. Be sure to try their classic house drink, the Jatobá, for a true local experience!
($-$$) Good Brazilian Sushi in a very nice area with a lot of other options and nice bars!
($-$$) All you can eat Sushi, Brazilian style. My family's favorite Japanese place. Andy loved the salmon sashimi with Nutella, and they have lots of caipirinhas options but they're very strong so take it easy.
($$-$$$) The backdrop here is definitely a surprise, thanks to the majestic Bengal fig, a century-old tree that attracts admiring glances inside this restaurant. The glass roof adds a special touch, enabling guests to admire the immensity of its crown and branches to the full. In keeping with its sister property in the famous Faria Lima, the cuisine is based around the "fork to plate” concept.
($$-$$$) Contemporary French bistro fare & wine served in a cozy, charming space.
($) Tradicional place to get breakfast or a snack. Try the bread with requeijao ''Brazilian cream cheese'' and Pao de Queijo. You can also buy soft drinks, beer and deserts to go.
