Question

When should I reserve a hotel room?

Answer

This time of year is peak tourist season in Duluth, so we recommend reserving a hotel as soon as possible. See “Hotels” for more information

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place on the main level of the Malting Building. To allow ample time for the transition between events, a 90-minute cocktail hour will follow the ceremony on the second-floor mezzanine of the Malting Building.

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place on the lower level. For those who need it, an elevator is available to access the mezzanine for cocktail hour.

Question

Is there parking on-site?

Answer

Yes, there are three large parking lots available. Overnight parking is also permitted, making it easy to use rideshare services like Uber or Lyft.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We kindly request a semi-formal to formal dress code for our evening: suits, dress pants with a dress shirt, floor-length gowns, and midi or cocktail dresses are all welcome. No jeans, shorts, or hats, please!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4PM. We encourage guests to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to allow time to find parking, their seat, and to settle in. Once the ceremony begins, entry won’t be granted until the ceremony concludes.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

During the ceremony, we ask that all phones/cameras are put away and silenced or off. This is such a special day for us and we have hired an amazing photographer to capture these moments. Once the ceremony is concluded, feel free to take any photos or videos you would like!

Question

How Do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP directly on our website. Simply click the RSVP tab and enter a name that’s listed on your envelope. Everyone invited from that same household will be listed there.

Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is June 20th, but we encourage you to RSVP as soon as you can! If you’re unable to attend, we’ll miss you, but we’d still appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible. Anyone who has not RSVP’d by June 20th will be marked as a “not attending,” as we’ll be finalizing our headcount with vendors shortly after the deadline.

Question

Can I bring a plus one/friend/date?

Answer

Due to our allowed guest count, we do not have extra space for anyone not named on the invitation/RSVP. When you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact people you can RSVP for, and if you have a plus one it will be listed there as well.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that only children specifically invited join us on our wedding day. If your children are invited, they will be listed by name on your invitation/RSVP. We appreciate you making arrangements in advance and hope you enjoy a fun date night!

Question

Are there meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, if you have an allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know!

Question

Who should I contact if I have more questions?

Answer

If you have any other questions that weren’t answered here, you can reach out to Andrew or Justine, or email them at thedalewedding2025@gmail.com.
