Joy was born and raised in Arizona to Phyllis and Jerell Mulhollan. She moved to Monterey, California for graduate school. Six years later, Joy moved to Denver, Colorado where she works for the state government downtown. Joy is so very excited to be marrying Andrew. He's so thoughtful and wonderful to her. Joy is also happy that little Meep will have a dogdad.
Andrew James Peoples
Groom
Andrew was born and raised in Colorado to Marilyn and Bruce Peoples. He has always been a nerd and all around clown. He teaches high school science. Andrew never expected to find a person like Joy. He is very excited to be marrying her and is glad Meep has stopped trying to kill him, and now showers him with love and kisses. Much like her mother Joy.
Dr. Dayna Northart
Maid of Honor
Joy and Dayna met at a home fellowship in San Jose, California in 2015. Over the years, they laughed, cried, commiserated, and prayed for each other through their adventures in friendship and singlehood. Dayna tried to get Joy out to a Colorado camp to meet a potential future husband, but it never worked out. In the Fall of 2018, Joy was visiting San Diego, and Dayna made the executive decision to send a picture of Joy to Andrew to (re-)introduce them, and so began the journey that led us to this matrimony-ous day!
James Peterson
Best Man
Jim and Andrew met through a mutual friend many years ago. They have shared many discussions about economics, philosophy, relationships, and the pros and cons of wheat beers. Jim and his wife Kim have been one of the couples closest to Andrew and Joy during their courtship. Andrew is honored to have Jim as his best man.
Maggie Phillips
Bridesmaid
As Maggie's brother, Andrew was there when Maggie was born and made the first of many fusses. They had a healthy competitive relationship growing up. As age and maturity overtook both of them (debatable by some), they grew closer. She found the love of her life Steve and is a wonderful mother to Andrew's favorite niece Stella. Joy and Andrew are excited to have her stand with them on their wedding day.
Joseph Duncan
Groomsman
Andrew and Joseph met on the Golden High School swim and dive team and survived their work for the Golden Rec center. Despite Andrew kidnapping Joseph out of his bed at 5 am in order to get a fourth member for a relay team, they are still friends. Joseph is one of Andrew's oldest friends and is grateful he is standing with him on Andrew's wedding day.
Anna Brown

Since they became friends, Anna and Joy have been both thankful and continually surprised by how much they have in common. Some of that commonality is joyous (get it?!), like both being left handed and outdoors enthusiasts, and some of it has been found in challenges they’ve both faced where they’ve been able to lift each other up. And to add to their already wonderful friendship, Andrew is close friends with Anna's husband. Anna and Joy are both looking forward to many double dates in the future!
Scott Mulhollan

Joy has known Scott his entire life. A natural sibling rivalry turned into a best friendship as they grew. Aside from the 17 years they lived in the same house, Scott and Joy also spent a lot of time together during the six years that Joy lived in California. She often would drive 1-2 hours to hang out with him over the weekend. This was mostly voluntary, but also quasi mandatory since Scott is Meep's favorite person and she needed to see him. Andrew is looking forward to having a brother for the first time.
