Restaurants

These are some of our favorite spots! The Continental Midtown - 1801 Chestnut Street Where we had our first date! A great spot for drinks & light bites on their rooftop! Parc - 227 S 18th Street A Philly staple! We recommend going for brunch and sitting outside to overlook Rittenhouse Square Park. Apricot Stone - 428 W Girard Ave An incredible Armenian restaurant in the NoLibs neighborhood. Barbuzzo - 110 S 13th Street One of our favorite Italian spots for a cozy atmosphere. Amada - 217 Chestnut Street Iron Chef, Jose Garces', restaurant featuring authentic Spanish tapas.

Looking for a spot to grab a drink in between the ceremony and reception? These spots are close to either the church or the reception. The Library Bar - A chic, cozy bar set inside the Rittenhouse Hotel a.bar - An innovative cocktail bar High Street - Conveniently located at the Franklin Building where the reception is taking place Barra Rosa - An Italian spot with happy hour from 4-6 ;)

Fairmount

Fairmount is home to some of Philly's best museums! The Philadelphia Art Museum - Take your photo with the Rocky statue and run up the steps! Check out the newly unveiled Armenian Heritage Walk garden and outdoor sculpture gallery outside of the museum. Rodin Museum - The largest collection of Auguste Rodin sculptures outside of France. The Franklin Institute - Not just for kids! A science museum with interactive exhibits. The Eastern State Penitentiary - A former prison most known for holding Al Capone.

Old City

Philadelphia's Historic District. This is where you'll find the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. It's an iconic neighborhood with cobblestone streets and 18th century architecture, and home to the oldest residential street in America - Elfreth’s Alley!

Center City

The hub of the city and where all of the hotel blocks are located! A great place for shopping and hitting some of Philly’s iconic spots. Reading Terminal Market - a great spot to get a cheesesteak or roast pork! Walnut Street for shopping. Great photo ops! - LOVE Park, City Hall, Chinatown Friendship Arch

Manayunk

Our neighborhood in the city! A 15-20 minute drive from the Loews Hotel. We may be bias, but we think it's worth a day trip if you're staying for the weekend. Main Street has tons of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, and a great farmers market on Saturdays! We recommend: Valerio for coffee, Mia Ragazza and Jake & Cooper's for dinner, and trekking up the hill to C&C Creamery for ice cream :)
