We both attended Rincon High School and knew of each other, but our love story began much later. In 2023, unbeknownst to us two, we both attended a Chase Rice concert in Tucson. Andrew's best friend Dillon mentioned noticing Erika and her best friend Monique, which motivated Andrew to slide into Erika's Instagram DMs on April 1st (wasn't an April Fool's prank!) and the rest is history. On the second day of talking, we spent hours on the phone. Once we set our first date, we couldn't wait a whole week so met up halfway (Andrew was in Tucson, Erika in Phoenix) at the Eegee's in Casa Grande. After a double date in Tucson, Andrew asked Erika to be his girlfriend, which was saying a lot as she had gotten sick at the restaurant so he must have meant it. Shortly after, we said I love you for the first time. By the end of the year, Andrew made the big move to the valley to begin our lives together with our dogs Parker, Rollo, and Duke. In March of 2025, Andrew managed to surprise Erika by planning the most romantic proposal in front of friends and family, with roses, sentimental words, and a family ring. There were lots of tears and running mascara but Erika said YES! We have spent the past two years going to farmer's markets, uniting our families, trying new restaurants, rooting for rival NFC football teams and making each other laugh. We cannot wait to make it official! What better way to celebrate than on lucky Friday the 13th and Valentine's Day weekend. Thanks for reading our love story and we can't wait to see you at the wedding!
