Our story begins in the town of Chico, where we both went to college and where fate brought us together in a few classes at school. Although we shared the same space, neither of us mustered the courage to say anything at first, exchanging glances and nervous laughter. It wasn’t until our paths crossed outside the classroom that things began to change, over shared notes and late-night study sessions in the library. After a few weeks of friendship, we took a leap and went on our first real date—a night at the movies that neither of us would ever forget, and it was there, under the flickering lights of the screen, that our connection grew deeper. But after that perfect night, life threw us a curveball; graduation came, and 200 miles suddenly separated us apart. Despite the distance, we made every moment together count, eventually rejoining together in Andrew's home town of San Jose. We both had dreams and aspirations of working in healthcare, so finally, when the time was right, we packed our lives into our cars and set out for Miami, Florida to pursue our dreams and educational goals. With every mile we traveled, and every moment spent together, we built memories and wove our dreams together. Finally, in December of 2023, Andrew proposed in Sayulita, Mexico on our 5 year anniversary—and the rest is history! From those early moments in Chico to this exciting new chapter in our lives, we’re thrilled to celebrate our love and the journey that brought us here. Thank you for being a part of our story!
